Árpád spring
The magical place for a complete recharge – 15 minute walk
Within the area of Árpád spring – also known as Esperanto spring – three energy lines are flowing through. These lines quickly regenerate the weakened immune system and strengthen it. For healthy people, they provide relaxation, and more energy.
The walkers, the people who rest at the tables, having picnics near the spring can feel the unique essence of this space, where the beauty of nature and healing energies are all present at the same time. The energy fields measured in the area are called Saint George lines in Hungary, Ley lines in England, and Dragon lines in China. The intersections of the lines are the acupuncture points of the Earth.

The hilly terrain of Nagybakónak is perfectly ideal for hiking.
There are plenty tour routes through running through the area and its borders, from which the most significant is the Southern Transdanubian Blue Tour and Green Tour route of Pál Rockenbauer. Kőszikla gorge
The narrow gorge, known only as “Kicikla” by the locals, is a unique sight of Zala county, which is, furthermore, also home to unique and protected vegetation thanks to its microclimate. The clayey sandstone gorge hollowed out by erosion of the Zalai hills promises a short but adventurous, unadulterated ladder gorge experience. In the gorge, several long, vertical ladders have to be climbed, so it is highly recommended to avoid dizziness and take sure steps. The gorge can only be walked safely in dry weather.
A walk in the village
Nagybakónak is located on the edge of a forest area where the borders of 7 villages meet, which is why this area is also called Héthatár, Sevenborder. Thanks to the village with its beautiful hilly streets, well-kept gardens, friendly locals, just walking around aimlessly is a real refreshment for the soul and the eyes. The store is only open for a few hours, no pubs, no restaurants, no crowds, no noise and light pollution, but in return you have an ideal natural experience, by meeting only a few villagers, cyclists and hikers while admiring the countryside.
